Exploded Hipster by Yuxtapongo
Comissioned by CAM Raleigh for the 2012 Hopscotch Music Festival
September 6-8, 2012
CAM Raleigh invited us to transform the 70-foot-long wall of their main gallery for the performances for the 2012 Hopscotch Music Festival. Built from the donated clothing of local music lovers, the exploded-imploded clothing represents the style & spirit of the local hipster subculture: united & unique, explosive & introspective, uncertainty in certain chaotic times.
Together with Neill Prewitt, Lincoln Penn Hancock, Mollie Earls, Robin Vuchnich and many many friends.
